I'm using getAppletContext().showDocument(url) to call a JSP page from the Applet. When the Applet calls the JSP page, the page is getting compiled and netscape crashes. Can someone tell me what is the Problem. The same code works perfectly in IE. The applet i'm using is a signed Applet.

Code signing is proper and it works both in IE and Netscape.

First, take the JSP part out of the equation and try to open any old page. You are just confusing the situation by adding the JSP page to the equation. Second, code signing is different for Netscape and IE. Are you sure you have the applet signed properly to run in both browsers?
