Cannot import a jar file in a jsp when using tomcat

When i try to import a jar file in a jsp page, tomcat fails to recognize the jar file. I have set the classpath in the autoexec.bat to include this jar file but still tomcat fails to recognize it.

Hi,

Try to put that jar file in the lib directory of tomcat home or in the lib directory under /WEB-INF of your application.
