how to accept the URL connection!_NEWLINE_!from client?

I am programming a client/server program,in this program,the client use URL connection to connect to the server.That is URL url=new URL(...); URLConnection conn=url.openConnection(); The url above contains not only the server's ip and port,but also the data eg:http://www.mycompany.com:8888? name="whoami"&"age=20..... But when the client has opened the connection,how did the server read data from the client,I don not want to use servlet. can anybody answer my question,I have had this question for quite a long time, I really want to solve it,thank you!    More>>
