I have an applet that uses the 1.3 java plugin. The applet communicates with a servlet using http tunneling and object serialization. The problem I have is that the page that loads the applet requires the user to logon. Howerver when the applet loads it doesn't pick up the security credentials the user has already established with the web server and subsequently is not allowed to communication with the servlet. How can I get the applet to run in the security context that the user has already established with the web server? Is there a way to ask the plugin to forward any security context the browser has already establilshed. Thanks in Advance Jim.    More>>
