I have configured tomcat with apache, it is up & running. the admin app throws this error when I click 'View All Contexts' button:

"Error: 500

Location: /admin/contextAdmin/contextAdmin.jsp

You must mark the administration application as trusted"

What does this mean? what should I do? I have added a user with the admin role in tomcat-users.xml and was successfully authenticated.

You need to set the context for the admin app in the "server.xml" file to have the trusted property = true.

docBase="webapps/admin"

crossContext="true"

debug="0"

reloadable="true"

trusted="true" >
