What is the most efficient way to detect NULLs returned in a ResultSet? I've built a generalized server that executes any StoredProcedure and returns the result over IP. Using
ResultSet.getString( int )
returns the String "null" if the DB value is null, but that is not the value of the data!
I am aware of the
method, but I would have to call that for every record returned by every StoredProcedure and that sounds inefficient. Is there a better way?
