Hello. How do I specify a parameter like "-Xmx380m" to launch java.exe on Tomcat 3.2 with NT 4?

We used Tomcat as a NT Service.

In the file "workers.properties" we try :

wrapper.cmd_line=$(wrapper.javabin) -Xms100m -Xmx380m -classpath $(wrapper.class_path) $(wrapper.startup_class) -config $(wrapper.server_xml) -home $(wrapper.tomcat_home)

But the -Xmx380m isn't OK. Thanks for your help - JP.

You can also do this in the catalina.bat file. Look for "JAVA-OPTS" and add your startup parameters. This would make your Tomcat installation a little more portable since it does not require registry edits.

Open regedit,
go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/ApacheTomcatServ/Parameters

Create here string value
'JVM Option Number 3' with value '-Xmx380m',
change paremeter JVM Option Count to 4, becuse usually
you have only 3 def.params.
