Hello, I want to write a Delphi server application that has a connection with a database and also holds all the Business logic. All the clients should run inside a web browser (java applet) and should be able to communicatie with the Delphi Server via the internet/intranet. Wich methods are there to do this? Also take in mind that it would be nice if complete data structures can be send across, instead of just 1 string. I know that its possible to stream complete objects in java from one server to a client, but what if the server is written in Delphi. Thanks anyway, Ido ilepper@fbk.eur.nl    More>>

Hi!

I had the same problem the other way round (J2EE-Server with Delphi Client) and I solved the problem by using XML for all communications. Take a look at www.jdom.org for a real good Java-XML-Api.

bye,
Chris
