Before running the RMI server, I have to modify the ".java.policy" file, otherwise it gives me an error "Error:access denied (java.net.SocketPermission :1099 connect,resolve)". Is there any way which I can grant this permission dynamically to my RMI Server.

Hi Rahul,

Can you tell me how you edited the policy file.

I get the same error and would like to modify the policy file.
