I have jsp called "information.jsp" which has content in the form a table. For one of the column field i have used href which calls a javascript function for some validation & then submits the form to a servlet. In the servlet i need to some file operations and then need to forward to a jsp which should be opened in a new window as we do in window.open. how can we forward the request with RequestDispatcher so to open the jsp in new window?? It may be something like clicking on the file name on one jsp and opening the file from that location in a new window.
Can someone help me on this as i m new to these
