Hi, I have a application deployed on Tomcat. The requirement is to get all the request having a particular pattern and redirect to another URL. For example If the request is http://localhost:8080/abc/history.jsp The pattern in question is /abc i.e. any request having this patter should be redirected. It should be redirected to http://someothermachine:8080/history/history.jsp The restriction is we cannot use any user defined servlets. My question is can Tomcat itself handle such a request redirect if we make some configuration changes in the Tomcat??    More>>

Hi,
I have a application deployed on Tomcat. The requirement is to get all the request having a particular pattern and redirect to another URL. For example

If the request is

			http://localhost:8080/abc/history.jsp

The pattern in question is /abc i.e. any request having this patter should be redirected.

It should be redirected to

			http://someothermachine:8080/history/history.jsp

The restriction is we cannot use any user defined servlets.

My question is can Tomcat itself handle such a request redirect if we make some configuration changes in the Tomcat??
