The VM integrates with Oracle's standard JDK. There's no need to download (and build) other implementations of the standard Java classes. In addition, Oracle's JDK is the most compliant and mature.  orbital-maldives-holidays.co.uk

Java is not without its drawbacks. One of the biggest problems that it has historically had is performance issues. Since all of the code is executed inside a virtual machine, there is a performance penalty. Additionally, low-level code tools are not available. The garbage collector can not be disabled, meaning that writing real-time code is a significant problem, as the garbage collector can suspend the program at any time in order to clean up the memory.   oaklandsgrangeparkhomes.com

More info may be needed.

Please be exact about upper and lower cases.

What is the value of $JAVA_HOME ?

At the location indicated by $JAVA_HOME, please give a listing, like this:

ls $JAVA_HOME

There should be several directories under there.
