Hi,
my requirement is..
run ant from batch file.
i dont have any idea about batch file creation...
pls give me the step by step instruction...its urgent for me.

Seriously?


Assuming the directory where you installed ant is in your PATH and that your build file is called 'mybuild.xml' and that you want to run the 'dist' target.


Create a new text file and name it with .bat extension (eg runant.bat), put the following in it and save:


ant -buildfile mybuild.xml dist

See http://ant.apache.org/manual/running.html#commandline for more options.


If your build file is "build.xml" then I don't think you need to specify it.


Beware typos since I didn't test this.
