Senior Java Engineer -Columbia Maryland


Senior Java Engineer with hands-on experience building distributed systems. Experience with various JAVA frameworks including Spring framework (spring webflow), and JSF in a WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ Environment.

* BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering field
* Project Experience using J2EE framework like spring framework -JSF/Spring webflow/Spring JMS/Spring JDBC, Acegi

*Extensive JSF knowledge (MyFaces)

* 5+ years in Software Development, with at least 4 years in internet or web based application and product development

* Experience with JMS and WebSphere MQ

* Expertise developing on WebSphere Application Server 6.1 and oracle 10g platform

* Experience developing enterprise user interface

* Ability to meet timelines and delivery schedules

* Experience ensuring optimization and high performance for high volume web application sites

* Thorough understanding of agile development methodologies and processes

* Experience in designing and building reusable APIs

* Experience with persistence frameworks (ibatis, hibernate, JPA)

* Strong teamwork and communication skills
