Hi,

   I have a problem in attaching the file for the mail. I need to attach the pdf file. I am able to attach and send the mail from our development system which runs on Windows OS . But I got the following error while I am compiling the java file on our production system which runs on Linux OS .

   cannot resolve the symbol.
   Symbol: method attachFile(java.lang.String)
   location: class javax.mail.internet.MimeBodyPart.
            
mbp2.attachFile( + "/test.pdf");

Are you running the same version of Java EE on both systems?
It sounds like it's finding the Class, but the method may not be available in one or the other verions.
