Hi Log4j Gurus, I am very new to this and could use a lot of help. Sort of step by step. I was tasked to rotate to apache-tomcat catalina.out log file using log4j and used the following web-site http://minaret.biz/tips/tomcatLogging.html to configure log4j on my development server but, after I stop and start the apache-tomcat I am not sure if it is working. Here is the server info: OS: sun solaris 10 apache-tomcat: version 5.5.25 1. how do I know that log4j is working? 2. Here is my after I start apache, should catalina.out roll (because, it is not) or when the new date begins then, it will start a new catalina.out? I really appreciate any help that I can get    More>>
