Hello,

I am working with XML documents.
Sometimes the new version of XML doc has only different order of tags.
If I use text comparison, it says they are different.
How can I compare XML docs by their content, ignoring order of tags.

Thanks.

I remember reading something about "XML Canonical Form" a few years ago, which might be what you want? -- transform both documents to their "canonical form", and they should be identical there, IF they are equivalent in the sense that you want -- because the transformation, and final representation, would ignore non-significant tag order, non-significant whitespace, etc.

I think there was a W3C thing going on, research into this topic.
