How to enable the Client to know the DB changes?

Hi everybody.

I am using DB2 and Tomcat Application Server. I am developing JSP pages. I would like to get the notification message whenever i update the database. Is there any interaction between Tomcat and DB2?

Otherwise, How do i get this?

Do you really have no understanding how a request/response-based system works? Where are these notification messages even supposed to go?
