I have one project developed in Eclipse. It was developed as Java Project but actually it was a web project. which runs under tomcat web server. Everything works fine but I am not able to debug the project. I want to check what are the values of variables and objects at particular moment . Can anyone help me how to debug the project. It also has dependencies to other projects in same workbench.

Thanks

Well first you need to start Tomcat's JVM with the debug switches.

Then you can go into Eclipse:
Run -> Debug... -> Remote Java Application

Then create a new one and make sure the host is the one Tomcat is running on and that the port matches the port you set above in the JVM's debug switch.

Here are the details
