Problem Reading property files

Hi everyone,
I am facing some problems reading property files through ant.I have my project coded in eclipse and have the the property files in the source folder. At this point it does not give me any problem. I use ClassLoader.getSystemResourceAsStream("property.filename"). Using ant script I Jar my project and have the property files in the JAR. But this approach doesn't work. i place the property file in the classpath and did not work.

Can anyone help me out?

Im quite certain property files can't be put in jar files (unless the class reading them is also in the jar file). Easiest way is to leave with alongside the build.xml file on the filesystem
