Well my question is " Even though the Connection is an
Interface how is it that you can invoke methods through it?"

As the Interfaces are by default public and abstract..

How can we call methods on the Interface without
implenenting them?

Connection is an interface. It specifies behaviour. It's the job of the database vendor to write a class that implements this interface. So you're never calling methods on an interface. You are calling methods on an object. The object just conforms to the behaviours specified by the interface.
