question




when i run any java program using Socket or ServerSocket


class i get following error on windows platform.



SocketException : error : 10106 cannot create sockets

It could be because of your SystemRoot is not set properly.


Use set SystemRoot=%windir% and then try.


Also if any firewall either disable or allow to create
socket.

Sounds like you have a problem in Windows with your TCP/IP stack. Check if your system is property configured for TCP/IP.
