Am currently building a code base having - "generic type" & "metadata" development theme. Build uses set ANT_HOME=C:DevKitapache-ant-1.7.0 set JAVA_HOME=C:DevKitweblogic92jdk150_04 Yet, I get the following error [javac] C:DevKitSVNCAproperty ranchesdeploy2src etpropertyserverPropertyServlet.java:121: expected [javac] protected static Set xcapRequestTypes; [javac] ^ [javac] C:DevKitSVNCAproperty ranchesdeploy2src etpropertyserverPropertyServlet.java:134: '(' or '[' expected [javac] xcapRequestTypes = new HashSet (4); [javac]    More>>

Am currently building a code base having - "generic type" & "metadata" development theme. Build uses
set ANT_HOME=C:DevKitapache-ant-1.7.0
set JAVA_HOME=C:DevKitweblogic92jdk150_04

Yet, I get the following error

[javac] C:DevKitSVNCAproperty ranchesdeploy2src
etpropertyserverPropertyServlet.java:121: expected

[javac] protected static Set xcapRequestTypes;

[javac] ^

[javac]
C:DevKitSVNCAproperty ranchesdeploy2src
etpropertyserverPropertyServlet.java:134: '(' or '[' expected

[javac] xcapRequestTypes = new HashSet (4);

[javac] ^

[javac] C:DevKitSVNCAproperty ranchesdeploy2src
etpropertyserverWsDeployment.java:42: illegal character: 64

[javac] @WebService(name = "WsDeploymentPort", serviceName = "WsDeployment")

[javac] ^

[javac] C:DevKitSVNCAproperty ranchesdeploy2src
etpropertyserverWsDeployment.java:43: illegal character: 64

[javac] @SOAPBinding(style = SOAPBinding.Style.DOCUMENT, use = SOAPBinding.U
se.LITERAL, parameterStyle = SOAPBinding.ParameterStyle.WRAPPED)

[javac] ^

Any suggestions to mitigate this failing build ?

Cheers.    <<Less

Most likely the compiler expects pre-1.5 sources. See the source and target attributes of the javac task.
