I am going to use CVS as my Configuration Management. It will be installed on UNIX. I need to know the following

1) How to create CVS users? I will be having various folders on CVS and I need to give access rights for specific folders to specific users. How is this possible?

2) Can Eclipse be used for accessing CVS? Will it be possible to give access rights using a Eclipse

3) CVS will be on UNIX server. Does the user rights needs to be done on CVS or it should be done by creating users on UNIX?
