Hi, I have an application thats being developed in JSF in combination with Trinidad ADF, Hibernate and Oracle. It works fine when I have Java 5 running as my JVM. But when I installed Java 6.0, it just does not work. It gives errors regarding rendering the components. e.g. WARNING: Renderer 'org.apache.myfaces.HtmlTagRenderer' not found for component family 'javax.faces.Output' ERROR [STDERR] Mar 16, 2007 9:27:35 AM org.apache.myfaces.trinidadinternal.renderkit.RenderKitBase getRenderer I'm wondering if Java 6.0 does not have a backward compatibility or is it something to do with JSF & ADF? Hi,

I have an application thats being developed in JSF in combination with Trinidad ADF, Hibernate and Oracle. It works fine when I have Java 5 running as my JVM. But when I installed Java 6.0, it just does not work.
It gives errors regarding rendering the components. e.g.

WARNING: Renderer 'org.apache.myfaces.HtmlTagRenderer' not found for component family 'javax.faces.Output'

ERROR [STDERR] Mar 16, 2007 9:27:35 AM org.apache.myfaces.trinidadinternal.renderkit.RenderKitBase getRenderer

I'm wondering if Java 6.0 does not have a backward compatibility or is it something to do with JSF & ADF?

The confusion is created because it works fine with Java 5.0 but not with Java 6.0

Any response to this is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
