Hi all,
I m working on a web based project in jsp and the scripting language i m using is java script. in the project i m required to send a message(pop up message) to the computer whose ip address i know in advance.
can any one plz help me.thanks in advance.

Your question is highly confusing and cannot be answered as is. Since you said "web-based", I can only guess what you want is: two computers (A and B) are both connected to a web server (S) and you want A to be able to cause a javascript "alert" box to pop up on the B's browser with some message. No port number is involved, so I don't understand why that is in the title of your question. Please explain what you want in more detail and with more clarity.

mr. murli u can send the mail to other system by ip address.
using configration of outlook .
and use java mail-api in jsp
