I need tyo know which (.jar) files to be used for using JSTL tag library in the project.Also which is best version of JSTL Taglib so far?

The jakarta taglibs project has (at least) version 1.1.2 of the standard taglibs. You need the standard.jar and the jstl.jar files available to your web container software. (For tomcat, put them in common/lib subdirectory.)
