Setting the value of hidden element

hi everybody,

I have a situation here. I am trying to update a element using java script. The form is having a form bean and when user clicks the submit button, a javascript have to fetch the data and assign it to the hidden element. How do i do that?

make sure you put a "styleId='foo'" on the html:hidden, and in your javascript, set the 'document.getElementById("foo").value=whatever".
