java mail server error

hi friends please help me to clear the following error
im using jdk1.6.0& java servlet development kit & java mail 1.4
while running the mailservlet i got the following error message
ERRoR javax.mail.messaginbg Exception:could not connect to smtp host:localhost,port:25;
nested Exception is
java.net.ConnectException:Connection refused:connect
if i specify the port number as 3306 i got the following error message
ERRoR javax.mail.messaginbg Exception:could not connect to smtp host:localhost,port:3306,response:-1
pls help me to rectify this as soon as possible

Solution: install and start a mail server. Change your code back to port 25. Why would you bother trying to use the mysql port (3306) to test a mail app anyway?
