Hello all J2ME Gurus
I just finished a j2me project. The problem is

Whenever I upload to the server the size of the jar file changes by about 4KB
When I try to download, I get a jar-size mismatch error on my phone
Please what do I do

Thanks

hi akintayo
simply go to your jad on the server and change the jar size property to the new size then download the application and it will works well.

This could happen, if the changed jad file is not beeing downloaded by mobile phone.

This could happen if one of the proxy is caching the jad and not able to see the new one.. Also, Phone Browser also maintance a cache.

You could try the following

1. Each browser of the phone has a menu item to clear its local cache. Try if this solves the problem.

2. Else, try changing the name of the jad file after each succesfull download.

If you could let us know the model of the phone you are using, we could give more details of the menu used to clear the phone cache.
