hi

i downloaded tomcat and practising servlets.

i've written a servlet and tried compiling it,

but its giving me HttServlet not found,

basically its not able to pick any of the classes required for servlets although i mentioned the lib path of tomcat in my classpath.

please reply.

i've one more doubt

how can i check my tomcat is installed properly

if not what steps should i take

i'm running exe for installtion from one of the intranet pages of my oranization
