I am using a build.xml in which i refer to an environment variable called WL_HOME. When WL_HOME is to a short windows path name like C:depotSRC_15~1 eaWEBLOG~1 I get a NoClassDefFoundError when trying to invoke a task. It is not able to load one of the dependent classes.

But when i set the the full path name for the environment variable like WL_HOME=c:depotsrc_15006jr eaweblogic100 the build succeeds.

I am running this on Windows XP with Apache Ant version 1.6.5

Any workaround or fix for this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

truncated filenames were a hack anyway. If you're build works with standard filenames, why are you keen on working with truncated ones?
