Forgive me if this question is silly as I am new to antlr and am trying to modify a grammer file.
Is there a way specify that I want to skip all characters not specified in the grammer file?
In other words, if I type say a ! in my file my lexer throws this exception. I was wondering if there was a way to do this without explicitly adding every possible character to the skip rule.

Thanks,

Mike
