HI all, I had posted this question earlier also but didn't get any response. :( I am creating a game which needs to detect collisions.MIDP2.0 has a function like "collidesWith()"to detect collisions.But there seems to no such funtion in the MIDP1.0 API.Can someone please tell me how this can be achieved? Thanks.

Its not that complicated with midp1.0. There are various algorithms for collision detection.

Pixel by pixel collision detection is slower, but this approach is commonly used.

Define a rectangular boundary around the object and when the boundaries intersect or overlap, its an indication of a collision.
