We are using JSF in our J2EE project. Previously we were able to compile the code properly. But suddenly started getting some compilation error for classes in "myfaces-api-1.1.2-SNAPSHOT.jar" & "tomahawk-1.1.2-SNAPSHOT.jar". I think this may be because of some configuration changes or version problem. But not sure exactly. The error is [javac] javax/faces/component/UIComponentBase.java:0: error: non-static method 'javax.faces.component.UIComponentBase.restoreState(javax.faces.context.FacesContext,java.lang.Object)' overrides static method . Same type of error we are getting for other classes - "UIViewRoot.java" , "UITreeData.java", "HtmlTree.java"   More>>

The error is
[javac] javax/faces/component/UIComponentBase.java:0: error: non-static method 'javax.faces.component.UIComponentBase.restoreState(javax.faces.context.FacesContext,java.lang.Object)' overrides static method .

Same type of error we are getting for other classes - "UIViewRoot.java" , "UITreeData.java", "HtmlTree.java",
"UIOutput.java", "UIInput.java". All classes are in one of the above jars.

To be more specific questions are

1. Why those classes in jars are getting compiled where there are .class files?

2. Why error is at line zero?

3. Any solution?
