Spaces in a file path

Hello, I'm trying to make a JasperReport for a WAR. I give the Jasper compiler the absolute path to the jrxml file. It consistently throws a FileNotFoundException.
The error outputs the file path and states that it is




C:Program FilesApache Software FoundationTomcat 5.5webappsProfileServerpagesLS
eportsLS_REPORT.jrxml"




This path is actually correct but the file can not be found.




The file path comes out of a resource file which is found successfully and has the same string that the error reports. Can anyone help me?

PS
I have done some extra tests. I can find the file without difficulty as long as there are no spaces in the filepath. Am I just not represnting it right?
