Hi Forum Excuse if the question is very elementary, but I am very newbie in Java and Netbeans. I have downloaded the courses of http://www.javapassion.com/javaintro1 and when loading the examples (also downloaded from the web), when compiling them with NetBeans 5.0 (F6), it throws this message
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: HelloWorld (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method)

I'm using XP SP2
any help will be appreciated
Guillermo
