Hello
I am trying to use ajax to retrieve and run some javascript.
My xml file is set up as follows:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>



When I get the responseText from my httpxmlrequest object and try to eval() it I get a script error.
Is my xml file set up correctly? Am a missing another step. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried printing out the exact string value of what you've got, before trying to eval it? in an "alert" perhaps? maybe you need to strip off the "root", for instance?
