I can't seem to get log4j to log to my console window. I'm using IBM Rational Application Developer 6. Below is my log4j xml file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> -->    More>>


I can't seem to get log4j to log to my console window. I'm using IBM Rational Application Developer 6. Below is my log4j xml file: 


			

			<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>


Can anyone help me with this?

Hi

Not sure about the xml. I use the log4j.properties file.
I have my consoleappender set as


log4j.rootCategory = info,stdout

log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender

log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout

# Pattern to output the caller's file name and line number.

log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%5p [%t] (%F%L) - %m%n
