Problem loading the driver

I'm running a simple application on Tomcat5.x with MS sql server as DB. I'm getting this error.



[]Login failed for user 'xxxxx'.

at com.inet.tds.a.a(Unknown Source)

at com.inet.tds.a. (Unknown Source)

at com.inet.tds.TdsDriver.connect(Unknown Source)

at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(Unknown Source)

Can anybody tell me what and why I'm getting this.?

first make sure the username and password u have


entered is correct



try with default username and password


i.e root and empty password

"Login failed" is the hint that is in there. The username/password that you provided are incorrect is the most common cause of a "login failed" error. Thought it would be obvious... I guess I am getting too old for this shit...
