Among the disadvantages are that some things are difficult or impossible to implement. Look at all the questions here about how to do certain things like disable the "back" button in the browser, how to have one "select" element affect the contents of another, the need for Ajax hacking to accomplish some dynamic updates without submitting a request, etc.

Of course much of this is due to the web actually being "Model 2" rather than real "MVC".

BY using MVC we can separate the presentation logic from business logic.
consider a problem with out mvc.once you complets the application, later on there is a some changes in your design or business logic again you should scan the entair application and do the modification.
By using MVC no need to change to other layer like if u want to change in business logic presentation layer didn't touch, vice versa.
i have no disadvantages, if you get send to me.

Thanks
