I would like to specify my classpath as follows:

However, this fails if any of my .jar files or directories under C:mylibs have spaces in the name. This happens because javac task does not "wrap" the -classpath argument in quotes to resolve whitespace issues.

Any advice?

Not that I tried it but you could use the DOS 8 character naming convention, e.g.

C:Program FilesJavaSoft

becomes

C:PROGRA~2JavaSoft
