Hello All, I'm having the doubt regarding the JVM heap size. I'm having the JVM Heap memory as follows. JVM Environment Free Memory: 137 MB Max Memory: 988 MB Total Memory: 220 MB I found that, there is a huge difference in the Total Memory size. Why it is like that? I can't able to find the solution why it shows the size like that? Any help will be greatly appreciated.    More>>

Total Memory: 220 MB



I found that, there is a huge difference in the Total Memory size.



Why it is like that?

I can't able to find the solution why it shows the size like that?

What kind of JVM u are using..Is it a SUN Hot Spot or JIT or JVMs from different vendors....In case of Suns JVM implementation they have a concept of perm space which is very
