Is there any special config you have to do for the SwiftMQ to allow connections on hosts with multiple interfaces? I have a host connected to 2 subnets and SwiftMQ is not accepting connections from the second subnet.

Yes, there is a bindaddress attribute for each JMS listener where you can specify the IP address of the network card to bind that listener.
