How I can get file association in the Eclipse?

Hello!
I’m developing a plug-in which should open a program associated with file extension if extension is defined in the Eclipse preferences or use a system preferences. How I could get file associations?

In Eclipse, go to menu option Windows -> Preferences -> General. Editors - > File association.

Here u may add ur own ones.
