How can I make Ant calls a target first before calling the import task (a top level task)?

In my build.xml file, I have a target called build.update.jar and an import task which will import an xml file to this build.xml.

The problem is when I run Ant, it will call the import task first rather than the target. How can I reverse this order of execution meaning Ant calling the target first then only the import task?

Hope someone can help!
