I am using Weblogic 8.1. I have a number fo MDBs which are configured as durable subscribers to a queue. The different MDBs (jars) form part of an ear.

If I have to remove a MDB completely from the application, would it be possible to just modify the weblogic-application and appliation.xml of the ear or is it necessary to explicitly remove durable subscriptions?

Is there any other way?

Guess I will answer this myself.

It is necessary to remove the durable subscribers explicitly as these details are stored in JMSStore. So the absence of the subscriber would be considered as inactive subscribers by the JMS Servers

You can remove the subscriptions either by using the server console or admin tool or MBeans
