I'm new to J2ME, I would like to use the BigDecimal and BigInteger classes provided with standard J2SE in an implementation of a factoring algorithm running on a mobile phone.

However, those classes are missing in J2ME.
Any suggestions on how to go about porting those classes to J2ME?

You can try this out.
import biginteger classes i mean have those classes in your jar. import the package in your code and use it .It will be user defined classes.if not clear with the solution then revert back.
