hi, I have a small doubt about the user transaction object in jboss. Iam getting the transaction object with the following code public UserTransaction getTransaction() { UserTransaction MFSQOBuserTransaction = null; try { CLSQOBinitialContext = new InitialContext(); MFSQOBuserTransaction = (UserTransaction) CLSQOBinitialContext.lookup("java:comp/UserTransaction"); } catch (javax.naming.NamingException nme) { nme.printStackTrace(); CLCPOBlogger.error(&q   More>>

hi,

I have a small doubt about the user transaction object in jboss.

Iam getting the transaction object with the following code

public UserTransaction getTransaction()

{

UserTransaction MFSQOBuserTransaction = null;

try

{

CLSQOBinitialContext = new InitialContext();

MFSQOBuserTransaction = (UserTransaction) CLSQOBinitialContext.lookup("java:comp/UserTransaction");

}

catch (javax.naming.NamingException nme)

{

nme.printStackTrace();

CLCPOBlogger.error("Exception in Getting a Transaction Object: " + nme.getMessage());

}

return MFSQOBuserTransaction;

}

When iam using this transaction object iam commiting after all inserts and rollbacking in exception. Still iam getting an error as transaction already in active.

Is the way iam doing is right? I didnot set any setting in jboss server.

Thanks in Advance

regards,

kalyan
