Hey I am writting web page in jsp connecting with oracle server 8.1.7. Application is located on Tomcat 5.5 server. The problem is with polish characters like: ¹¿Ÿæêó. I could not enter polish word. So, I have changed data type to nvarchar2 in oracle, and put example value with sqlPlus, then displayed it. It is good. Then I've wanted to do the same but from jsp page. Firstly i had to download and add: ojdbc14.jar, (it is told to be able to use this driver for oracle 8.1.7) then i had to also download orai18n.jar (cause, displaying this value i got error). After all ..... Jsp Compiled succesfull, but jdbc doesn't get any value from nvarchar2 field ... i have nothning .... Rest non n   More>>
